Monday - Friday:  Element Superhero Project
 - Students will have five class periods to work on and may take home as homework, if needed.  Projects are due at the end of class on December 21st.  Worth 50 points.  Please click on directions & rubric below.

You are NOT required to print out a superhero.  Your drawing must be colored.  If you use a computer to help with your drawing you will either need to print it our and color it or use a color print.  The school printer is only black and white.



HOMEWORK:  ALL STUDENTS NEED A NEW SCIENCE NOTEBOOK FOR THE NEW YEAR!  Also make sure you have pencils, glue, scissors, colored pencils or crayons.

THURSDAY- Bell Work: Term: FRICTION = Friction is a force that acts to stop the movement of two touching objects.  There are two kinds of friction: static and kinetic. Static friction is when the friction is strong enough to stop movement between objects.  Kinetic friction force is not strong enough to stop all motion.
Scholastic Science World with worksheet.  ​Read two articles and use them to complete the worksheet.  (Need to finish? Go to https://scienceworld.scholastic.com/ and find another article to read & write about.)​  Students will be given a list of missing work for the week to complete for Make Up Monday to earn full credit.

WEDNESDAY-Bell Work: Term: Continental drift = is the theory that parts of the Earth’s crust move slowly on top of a liquid core. The theory has now been included in the wide theory of plate tectonics which looks at the large scale movement of the Earth​
